How does Today’sCPE work?
Each month, Today’s Dietitian magazine publishes an article and examination on a pertinent nutrition or dietetics practice topic. Each exam can be completed for CE credit for up to one year from the publication date. (For example, the October 2010 article can be completed for CE credit through October 2011.) Past articles can be downloaded directly from the Today's Dietitian website by clicking the link above.
Each article is created and edited by Nutrition Dimension Inc., an Approved Provider of Continuing Professional Education for RD, DTR, and CDMs. Only RDs, DTRs and CDMs may earn credit through Today’sCPE.
How to Earn CPEUs
To earn CPEUs for Today'sCPE first purchase a magazine exam or exams (single, 3 or 6-pak) using the Buy Now options above. You must be logged into your Personal CE Account to purchase and complete exams.
To complete exam(s) go to My Account and click "Testing & History", find a magazine test, click "Take Test". On the following screen you will see a drop down menu with current articles, select the magazine article you wish to test on. Complete and submit the exam for ce credit.
You do not have to specify which article(s) you will be testing on when you purchase singles, 3-paks or 6-paks. You will select the article(s) you wish to test on when you are ready to complete the test(s). Articles remain on the site for one year. Articles older than one year cannot be used for CE credit. If you do not see the article you want to test on, check the publication date.
Once purchased, exams will stay in your Personal CE Account until you use them - they never expire.
Dietitians and Dietetic Technicians please note: The CPE activity type for Today’sCPE is “Pre-Approved Self-Study”, category 720 or 740.
