How does EDnow! work?
EDnow modules are available for one year to download free from the website. You then have an additional year to complete the exam for credit. From the time the EDnow module is posted, the exam can be completed for two years.
You can download a module today, but complete it later. Both the download and complete by dates are available on the course description page for the EDnow module.
Usually EDnow modules are reviewed, revised and recertified by the author, and posted online as a new edition. The edition is included after the title on the course list page. For this reason you may see two modules with the same name, but different editions. The older module will say "exam for older edition only". Even though material you have downloaded may no longer be available online, you may still complete the exam. For instance, the course list may look something like this:
Autoimmune Diseases and Diet: Exam for 2009 edition only
Autoimmune Diseases and Diet: Module and exam for 2010 edition
If you have previously downloaded the 2009 edition (ADD09) you can still take the exam. If you have not downloaded the 2009 edition (ADD09), download the 2010 edition (ADD10); and take the exam for the edition of the module that you read. However, if you have previously downloaded ADD08, you will not be able to complete an exam for that module. You will have to download and read the most recent 2010 edition.
Make sure you are ordering the correct exam!
For example, if you downloaded the 2009 edition you should NOT order the exam for the 2010 edition because the questions and answers will not match what you downloaded.
