Testing Instructions

Examinations for Softcover Coursebook courses may be completed online or by mail. Follow instructions on the Answer Sheet for mail-in completions. Exams for electronic SpeedE ce courses, EDnow! OnLine Learning Modules, and TodaysCPE/magazine articles must be completed online.

Testing is available anytime from any computer. All you have to do is log in, verify your account information, click on the test you want to take, then begin the test.

Taking a test that you purchased:

Log in. Before you can take any tests you must be logged in. If you do not have an account with Nutrition Dimension, you will need to create one. All the information you use to create an account is stored on the web site and can be accessed from “My Account”.

Access exam. You can access examinations from two areas of the web site. The first is the "Testing" menu found in the main navigation bar. Click on the "Take a Test" button. You will be asked to log in, or, if you are logged in you will be taken to your account. Or, you can click on "My Account" from the status bar. Either way, a list of all the courses you have purchased will appear in the "Testing & History" area of your account. Choose the exam you wish to complete and click on the "Take Test" button. If you previously started an exam and saved it click "Resume test".

Submit examination. When you finish with your exam, click "Submit" and you will see correct answers for any questions you missed, and a score. Note or print them out if you would like a record, as you cannot get back to that screen to review your answers

Complete evaluation. Fill out an evaluation and submit it. The evaluation must be completed in order to assure proper recording of your completion. A Completion Certificate with your name, profession, course name, CE credit awarded, and date completed will appear. You may print your certificate from this page, or if you wish to print the certificate at a later time you may do so from My Account.

Taking a test someone else purchased:

Log in. Before you can take any tests you must log in to your account. If you do not have an account with Nutrition Dimension, you will need to create one in order to take a test, even a test someone else purchased including Share and Save exams. Once you are logged into your account go to the "Testing & History" page and select "Take a test someone else purchased". You must know the original purchaser's customer number and the course ID of the test you are going to take. For our customers protection we do not give this information out. You will need to request this information from the person you are sharing with. The customer number and course id information can be found in My Account.
